Newmarket, Ontario is where York Pest Control got its start. Bryan Calvert, owner and operator of York Pest Control, has been a resident of Newmarket since 1978. He has over 30 years of experience in pest management and insect control, and as a resident, he knows the area well and understands the various types of household pests indigenous to it.

Bryan received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Toronto, and worked for a time in Toronto in the pest control industry. Understanding the various types of household pests indigenous to York Region, and recognizing the area's need for pest management and insect control services, he founded York Pest Control in 1983. York Pest Control is a privately owned and family run business, and is a member of the Structural Pest Management Association of Ontario.
